Kryptokrona (XKR) is a digital currency created for
the nordic region.
By the people – for the people
On April 2, 2019, kryptokrona was launched in response to the Riksbanks digital e-krona in order to secure people’s right to create money and to safeguard private finances without commercial or state control. Kryptokrona is a decentralized blockchain based on CryptoNote which is the basis of Monero. CryptoNote is a so-called “application layer” protocol that enables, among other things, completely private transactions.
Kryptokrona is a new type of bank, which works by converting electricity into economic value in a process called mining, the network extracts a form of digital coins. These are limited in number of coins and over time they become more difficult to extract, which is a function that hedges the currency from inflation.
In the kryptokrona network, the combined processing power of all dedicated workers is the security behind the blockchain when it uses a proof of work algorithm called Cryptonight Lite to find the next block.
These workers are thus competing to find the next block of coins and the power behind this in turn ensures that the network is resistant to external attacks.
Thus, like material assets like gold, kryptokrona can only be excavated using energy by contributing to the security and stability of the network.
This in turn creates a robust decentralized platform on which to build other applications on top of which one of the advantages is that you do not have to rely on any third party.
Money for the future
Kryptokrona exists to secure and simplify our future economic system. Sending and receiving money should not be expensive or slow.
